רייצ'ל בקריצקי

Rachel has been teaching at Zarkor since the first year it opened. This is her fourth year teaching 1st grade and her second year as the First Grade Coordinator. Rachel also helps coordinate English programming throughout the school. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English from Yeshiva University and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Bankstreet College. Rachel taught for ten years in Jewish Day Schools in New York before making Aliyah in 2009. After making Aliyah, Rachel ran private and group lessons in English. She also taught English for two years in a bilingual school in Jerusalem. In the classroom, Rachel's main priority is to create a warm and safe environment where children can grow and explore, a place where each student may gain the tools he or she needs to be successful in 1st grade and beyond
