SEL (Social Emotional Learning) programs are programs for learning the art of living – which, like art, is also a part of it – and for cultivating a beneficial encounter with internal and external reality. These programs are research-based, currently prevalent in Israel and around the world, and aim to develop emotional (E) skills in students, as well as social skills (S). In this process, students acquire essential skills for the purpose of becoming adults with resilience and mental well-being, with better abilities in personal and social conduct.
