At Zarkor, excellence has nothing to do with socio-economic background of a person. In fact, it is our belief that a strive for excellence transcends socio-economic background and can serve as a major merit-based driver for closing societal gaps. Israel is known for these gaps! Instead of teaching to the lowest common denominator in the name of equality that is used as a fig leaf for mediocrity, Zarkor proposes a different paradigm of closing the gaps in Israeli society – a paradigm where a child from any background is presented with an upward mobility track through excellent education.
